A new partnership between the ECL German Examination Center, Rwanda represented by Der Sprachen Hub – German Language Academy, and the Training Center of Languages (TCL) in Rugerero sector, Rubavu district, is opening doors for learners in Western Rwanda. This collaboration aims to provide easier access to internationally recognized German language certification and high-quality language training.

The partnership focuses on supporting students, alumni, and former participants of the German program at TCL Rugerero. They will receive help with exam registration, guidance on ECL exam formats, coaching on time management, and special early-bird discounts for upcoming exams.
Dr. Phocas Niwemushumba, In Charge of Academic Affairs at Der Sprachen Hub and Assistant Director of the ECL German Examination Center, said:
“This partnership reflects our commitment to expanding access to internationally recognized German certification and strengthening academic cooperation to empower more learners across Rwanda.”

Marie Claire Ndatimana, a German teacher and exam coach at Der Sprachen Hub and the first successful candidate of the C1 ECL German Exam, added:
“Quality preparation and strong guidance make success possible. Through this partnership, more students will gain the confidence and skills needed to succeed in international German exams.”

Knowledge Exchange and Improved Learning
The collaboration will also promote the exchange of expertise between the two institutions to enhance both the quality and quantity of German language education. It aims to Promote access to knowledge and information, improve employability and career opportunities, Strengthen communication skills and global mobility

Celebrating Student Success
Recent exam successes demonstrate the value of proper coaching and preparation.
Flower Ackdat, the first successful candidate of the B2 ECL German Exam, encouraged students to stay committed to their goals, saying that achieving B2 is possible with the right support.
Egide, the first B1 ECL German Exam candidate, highlighted that dedication and guidance lead to success.
Mr. William, Director of TCL Rubavu, emphasized that the partnership creates new opportunities for young people in Western Rwanda to access high-quality German education and international certification.

Current German learners are encouraged to register for the April ECL German Exam and take advantage of early registration discounts. To access the partner discount, register on the ECL exam platform, request a participation or enrollment certificate from TCL Rugerero, Submit the certificate to confirm eligibility.
The partnership covers learners from Nyabihu, Rubavu, Karongi, and surrounding areas
